Keegan and I started experimenting with the theory of growing strawberries hydroponically in vertical stacks.  The summer of 2010 Keegan designed and built our first growing system. We grew strawberries, cucumbers, bell peppers, tomatoes and lettuce. It was a huge learning curve. You are growing in a completely different way than people are accustomed to. We took lots of notes, talked to lots of other growers, a couple of Purdue Professors and most important talked to consumers to see what they are looking for in local produce.
